Born on January 24, 1983, Erik was a Laramie native, and Co-founder of G.I. Gold Veteran Project. He graduated with a degree in economic geology from the University of Wyoming. He was blessed with a son, Charlie, whom he was a devoted father and friend to. He had a wonderful sense of humor, albeit maybe a little bit of an acquired taste, with a love for helping veterans wherever he could. He was outspoken about what he believed, and was always there to lend a helping hand. With his sudden passing, we are all in a state of shock, but we will continue on with his mission, and what he believed that G.I. Gold could be.
